TutorBot stores session and appeal logs on the machine running the app (not in the browser).
.data/logs/tutorbot-math.jsonl — verifier outcomes per chat request..data/logs/appeals.jsonl — student/parent notes when the automated check felt wrong.On many cloud hosts the filesystem is ephemeral: set TUTORBOT_DATA_DIR to a persistent volume or sync these files to your own analytics pipeline.
Optional env TUTORBOT_MATH_BUFFER_LLM=true uses a non-streaming tutor reply for maths-shaped turns, then discards digits in risky cases (see chat route).
